Dermabrasion– Being a cosmetic medical treatment it removes the acne scars from the affected skin through abrasion, also known as sanding. Dermabrasion is generally used to treat skins damaged by the sun. Microdermabrasion– Microdermabrasion is another way of removing the acne scars by performing exfoliation on the affected skin. Laser therapy– Laser therapy also removes the acne scars. Such treatment is required to be repeated again and again, depending up on the gravity of the acne scars of individual.

Chemical therapy– Chemical therapy makes the acned skin much smoother, soft and free of acne scars.

Subcision– Through this process the acne scars are removed by uprooting the affected part of facial skin, that is acne scared. It separates the tissue of the affected skin from the area, allowing in this way, blood to pool under the affected area. It causes a deep rolling scar to get the affected area removed from the facial skin.

Biological Treatment– Under the biological treatment acne tissues are damaged and scars are replaced by new cells.

Mucin- Mucin, obtained from the snail Helix Aspersa Müller, is applied on the acne scars as topical creams to remove the acne scars.
